ABIDE
It's only two o'clock
There is alot
To write, to dream
To say what I mean
The wind is blowing cool around me
I might as well be sailing
The sun is burning hot
Even though seasons are changing
Reclining looking out at the waters
Shimmering, sparkling
The day is burning bright
My heart overflows with joy
Inside I am dancing with delight
He delights in me
I can see it in His eyes
The kindest smile of all
Inviting me to come and abide...

RIVER RUNS
Awaken my senses Lord by Your Word and power
That my response will be to meet with You this hour
Let it be true as the river runs
Swift to trust steady moving on
Down low washing all it touches
Cleaning away corrosion as it rushes
Over rocks broken solid scattered mass
To realize once and for all - You are all I have.
Daily we are changed and being renewed
We can be the seed that falls into the ground and dies
That new life may spring forth
Or else we will remain alone
Our lives are like the river
Expanding and drawing near
Braided at points, falling apart at the edges
Deeper in depth at the middle
At times dangerously beautiful
And yet still washing off the muck
Stirring about, sometimes cloudy
Being thrown against the rock
To be turned and thrust with the tide
All of this revealing the healing
That is coming to our lives
Every day and each hour that we put JESUS first.
That my response will be to meet with You this hour
