FOREVER MORE

Alive with hope and energized by love
Understanding responsibility and reason
I am grateful to be by the fire meditating on truth
Tasting the sweetness of this season
Being reminded that waiting never stops
Even when everything is subject to change
Patience is born of humility and trials
Love is equal parts joy and pain
Sweet burning embers of my heart
Reflect the glory of the Lord
Keep His word ever before you
Focus on forever more.

And by the fire may it come to you
A deeper knowing than ever before
Love is chasing you down
Never gets tired of holding your heart Leading you by the hand Look up to heaven cast your cares
Do not put your hope in man
Only the Lord knows your smallest need, hope, and desire
He alone is the strength of your life
and your every prayer by the fire Focus on forever more.

FOG IN THE VALLEY

Something about park benches and rocking chairs
Taking long walks in cool clean mountain air
Watching blue clear skies as the sun melts fog in the valley
Coming to the plain simple truth of life's always changing melody
Admitting there's so much more to learn as I travel down this road
Being still while you feel reality burn the weight of the load
Adding another unexpected piece to the puzzle
Ever aching within from the constant struggle
Of nothing more than this day to day life
Exceedingly thankful for right now, and yet still grieving at the same time.

BURN IN ME

Holy Passion of God
Deepen what is there
Have me, Hold me
Keep me in prayer
Take all that is yours
Burn in me holy truth
From thoughts to action
Demonstrate, consecrate, and prove
I am yours forever
All for your glory I live and move...

And let go of every earthly thing
Come awesome power and bring
The Kingdom, Your glory
Redeeming love be exalted

Divine purpose, Holy love

ABIDE IN HIM

Time has come and gone
Yesterday is a memory
Of trials, triumphs, and struggles
Wrestling with reality
What has been
Will never be again

My mom has gone to heaven
Her deep love lives on
In the hearts of her children

THE UNSEEN (Ten days before my Mom passed away)

Thank God I do not go by what I feel or see
I feel like I cannot breath
Almost fainted but you revived
And reminded me
I will continually fall down at your feet
And worship You my eternal reason to rejoice
I will stand on the Rock Christ Jesus
The unseen faithful High Priest who is ever interceding...

DARKNESS TO LIGHT

Night is turning to morning
Coming to You with everything
That I can do nothing about
I will lay against your chest and wait
Run into You where I am safe
Let your words take hold of me
Cause me to trust and believe
Without doubting or fretting
Simply obey and speak your word
Help me God to lay it all down
