Watching the day slip away
listening to the whispers of the wind
So much is stirring inside my heart
I hardly know where to begin
How do I begin to express
worthy thanks for all You are
For the depths of love that You make known
By allowing me to lean into Your heart
Standing in the waves and touching the sand
reminding me this many are Your thoughts towards me
and How can I truly rest
Except that You outstretch Your hand and show me
I run into the night
seeking to lose myself and find You there
I am strengthened by the resistance I feel
And filled with hope through every prayer
To keep on singing, to keep on standing
To dance though victory seems far away
I will keep on believing and speaking the truth
Being confident You hear me when I pray
