Down down deep into the ground
Working by the sweat of their brow
Trapped beneath the surface of earth
Sticking together to stay alert
Frustrations melt as good news arrives
Hope is the rescue that saves their lives
Pulling them to the surface
To live the rest of their lives on purpose.
