Imagine what it would be like
If we took God's word to heart
We would not wait another minute
To take hold of His promise and be a part
Of the healing and restoration
Forgiveness and reconciliation...
We would stop waiting for the other person
To move, make a call, or write a letter
We would humble ourselves and acknowledge
Where we have fallen short and could have done better
We might would consider cutting them a little slack
Understanding that as we give so it will be given back
Instead of allowing outward appearance to be the measuring line
Dig a little deeper to find the real treasure inside
And cherish what is expressed from within
A heart and life that is made in the image of Him
Who created all for His glory
And eternal pleasure
