HIS BODY

Take into consideration the day and age we're living in
Often remember Jesus perfect sacrifice that we could be with Him
Let go of the worries and do not let doubt feed the fears
They are worthless nothings that attempt to turn your joy into tears
As the Lord strong and mighty takes care of the beautiful flowers & precious birds
So He has a plan in place that is ordered and comissioned by His unfailing word
He is taking care of you
Upholding all things by the Word of His power
Lean into His heart, let His words go deep
He alone satisfies the lonely hearts and fulfills the ones who seek
Seek first the Kingdom
Pray and pray some more
Love is trust declaring the truth
Living what we were made for.

Lovely days of blessed praise

DRINK IT UP

The reality of joy when it comes to you
After oceans of tears and days of pain
The scent of the moment in walking for miles
Resting against the rock and feeling the strain
Tirelessly pulling, pressing, and gripping to find a hold
Glimpses of beautiful wildlife left alone
Listening and waiting and praying through the night
Wrestling with reasons and longing for life...

HEART IN A HAMMOCK

My heart is in a hammock
Resting against the faith of love
Being rocked by the light
Held by the strong presence of truth
My mind is down river
Looking for the perfect place to pull out or put in
Paddling through rough and choppy waters
Sustaining the wind and unexpected turns
The sun will shine again soon - miles around the bend
Enjoying the view even when it gets tough

PRESSED NOT CRUSHED

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit
Hurting, healing, I can feel it
Pressed, but not crushed
Overwhelmed and being rushed

Unmoved by the callapse of time and thought
Reflecting on the Psalms

Embracing hardship is becoming a blessing
Forgiveness is continually confessing

Live love instead of comparing

Nevermind the over-thinking

Pain is proof healing's not far away
Why waste time considering a lie

Quietly I turned to look up
He who is faithful fills my cup
By His word He directs my life
